The ME series of economical nominally rated plated cartridge filters is made from polyester/polypropylene blend media providing an excellent alternative to string wound, resin bonded, or spun cartridges. These products have high media surface areas lowering initial pressure drops and use no resin binders eliminating the risk of filter contamination. The lamination of media layers offers depth filtration, while all synthetic fibers eliminate foaming due to complete absence of any suffocants. They are manufactured in standard 2 1/2″ and 4 1/2″ (BB Style) diameter configurations, and can be washed and reused (lowering process costs) for models with 20 or higher micron rating.
